We are Manu & Mel McLeod from Hold Fast Concrete Specialists Ltd. Manu McLeod has 20 years’ experience in the concrete industry here in his hometown of Wanaka and abroad. Mel specialises in the running of the family business and customer service is her strong point.
Having spent 7 years away in Queensland, Australia, Manu was head foreman for Penfold Projects and BMG Constructions on major infrastructure projects including Clem 7 Tunnel, Brisbane Airport Link, New Brisbane Law Courts, University Of QLD, New Stockland Shopping Centre Hervey Bay, Brisbane South Bank Upgrade. All of which required compliance with main road standards.
Manu holds a Cert 3 certificate required by Australia Standards. There is no standard in New Zealand to date. This certificate covers all aspects of concreting. Including steel fixing, form working, sub-grading to compaction, placing, finishing and concrete cutting.
Now being back in beautiful Wanaka we would like to offer our extensive skills to you, no job too big or too small!
